Celebrated entrepreneur and India’s most loved Shark (Shark Tank India show) Aman is a born hustler who loves building brands. Recognizing the need for smart, superior, stylish, and durable audio & wearable products Aman launched boAt in 2014. boAt has challenged the status quo in a market dominated by foreign players and cheap knockoffs. Today, we are proud to say that the brand has broken all barriers and has placed India on the global map by becoming India’s No.1 and 2nd largest wearable brand alongside Apple and Samsung. boAt has truly redefined how hearables and wearables are perceived – Not just as functional, utilitarian product but as a brand that exemplifies self-expression. It has transcended the consumer electronics category and established itself as a lifestyle brand.
In a short period, boAt has created a community of millions of boAtheads (consumers) including Cricketers, Musicians, and Bollywood celebrities. boAt is proud to be backed by prominent investors like Warburg Pincus, Malabar Investments and Fireside Ventures.
Aman has been acknowledged as one of India’s top business leaders under 40 by The Economic Times in 2021 (ET 40 under Forty). He is also recognized by Forbes India and is part of Tycoons of Tomorrow list and awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by Entrepreneur India magazine among other.
