Anupam Saronwala

Anupam’s focus is on “applying technology innovations to drive tangible business value” that leverages more than 30 years of global experience with US and Indian companies in the areas of business consulting, technology licensing and alliances, software research and development, and operations; with last stint of over 14 years with world’s premier industrial research Lab, IBM Research.

Currently, an active member of Indian Angel Network, Charter Member of TiE and a mentor at NASSCOM DeepTech Club, with primary focus on advising startups and doing angel investments. Also,Director on the Board of IIITD Innovation & Incubation Center at New Delhi.

In June 2017, retired as the Country Leader and Program Director, IBM Research Business Development based at IBM Research – India, New Delhi. Responsible for leading business development activities for new research technologies and innovation projects in selected areas of machine learning, big data, blockchain, IoT, mobile and cloud for clients in IBM Growth Markets. Anupam has done MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, a B.Tech degree from IIT-Kanpur and Executive Leadership program with Cornell University.
