Dr. Ajai Chowdhary is the founder of EPIC Foundation, an Industry Led Non – Profit Organization conceived to develop Electronics Products of national importance and Self – Empowering the masses of India by bridging the digital divide and creating a secure technology infrastructure. He is also one of the six founder members of HCL and has been at the forefront of helping create the Electronics Industry in India. He has been the recipient of various prestigious awards including Padma Bhushan in 2011, Electronics Man of the Year 2010, CNBC’S India Innovation of the Year Award in 2010, and Cybermedia Business ICT Award 2013 for Lifetime Achievement in ICT. He has also chaired IIT Hyderabad, IIIT-Naya Raipur, and IIT Patna and immensely contributes to many areas including education, women empowerment, and providing relief during Covid to Delhi and Goa citizens.
